In preparation for our March Break Day Camp, we are looking to hire Relief Staff Members for Inspired Kids, an Afterschool Program at Smythe Street Church!
Relief Staff Members: are responsible for providing on-call support to the after-school program to fill in for an absent team member. Relief staff must be flexible, dependable, and able to adapt quickly.
Staff Qualifications
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Able to support the Smythe Street Church Statement of Faith
During our March Break Daycamp, operating hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Regular operating staff hours are 1:30PM-6:00PM Monday- Friday. Full days are available for storm days and professional development days. Staff will also be required to attend a staff meeting once a month. Starting pay will be $20/hour with ECE Wage Grid Guidelines enhancement depending on the employee’s education.
Prior to employment, successful applicants will be required to provide or undergo:
- Criminal Record Check
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Department of Social Development Check
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Plan to Protect Training
*While Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification is not required for afterschool care, all educators are encouraged to pursue ongoing training.
