FreddyLink is an initiative to help one community (Fredericton) to focus their efforts and come alongside another community to see them move to a place of strength and self-sufficiency. Working with World Vision Canada, FreddyLink has worked with two communities in the country of Haiti. FreddyLink has raised over $100,000 for water projects, and supported ongoing work through child sponsorship.
The FreddyLink concept, of linking community to community, was an idea that came from Smythe Street Church and the model has been promoted by World Vision in other communities in Canada.
