The ministry of Helping Hands is for those with a servant’s heart and who have the desire to be an encouragement to those around them. Jesus was very clear that we are to love and serve one another. How do we show this as Jesus did? Being a part of the Helping Hands ministry is one way it can happen.
What is the Helping Hands ministry? It is a ministry of coming alongside individuals who need assistance in the following areas:
- Providing short-term meals for those who are convalescing from surgery or sickness.
- Providing transportation for appointments, errands, grocery shopping, hospital visits, etc.
- Visiting seniors and those who are convalescing or shut-in.
- Helping with sandwiches and sweets for funeral receptions.
